It’s time!

accept guest posts Rocket Rider is now accepting Guest Posts. While this blog currently doesn’t have a ton of traffic or PR, it will in time, (just check who’s linking to it!), so any content (& link) value will increase accordingly.

So, if you’d like to share your wisdom, maybe review a site, share some great “how to” tips etc, I’m wide open to it. Of course it has to fit the “theme” of Rocket Rider; in other words it needs to be interesting and beneficial to bloggers and affiliate marketers in some way.

Remember that this is “my baby”, so that gives me the title of ‘the boss”, in other words I’m the Editor-In-Chief!

What to submit as a Great Guest Article

I’m open to your ideas. Your content needn’t be absolutely perfect, but should be grammatically correct, 100% original, and at a bare minimum 600 words, though I prefer longer. (The posts I submit to other blogs are all around 1,000 words e.g.)

Strong opinions, controversial ideas, personal stories etc are welcome - put away your shyness!

You should make them visually appealing. By all means include images if it helps, and for me, sub headings and bullet points can make all the difference. I’m fine with a link or two in the body of the content, but too many will make your article look bad, so 1 /500 words is a good rule. Make the in body links relative and informative and no affiliate links please!

You should include a well constructed Author Bio, and in reality this is the place for your links, (1 or 2 only though please). Make sure you have signed up for to Gravatar.com as having an image in your bio is a must.

Be prepared to come back & interact with the commenters, and do your part in Tweeting, Google+’ing etc.

How to submit your Guest Post

Just make contact via the form below. Send me your idea, paste in an excerpt if you have one, and I’ll get back to you asap with if/how you should submit your work. Initially I like some personal interaction with you, though I’m not opposed to setting up an author account.

I’m OK with doing a little editing, inserting images etc, but the less the better.
